First-Year Student Admissions

You may apply to San Juan College as a first-year student if:

• You have never attended college before
• You are applying after completing high school or earning your GED
• All your college credits were earned prior to your high school graduation or equivalent. 

Explore our degree and certificate programs to decide which one you want to study at SJC. You'll select that major on your application. If you don't know which one to choose, don't worry. You can mark the undecided option and still register for courses. Your academic advisor will help you select courses as you explore your options, and you can determine the program that best fits you at a later time. 

Please note that some programs will require an additional application or prerequisite courses before you can enroll.

SJC has a rolling application process, which means we do not have a deadline. The sooner you turn in your application, the sooner you can register for courses. Your application is valid for one year from the date it was submitted to SJC.

Your application will be processed in one to two business days. Please note that the process may take a few days longer during peak times.
